How long does it take to charge?
About 4 hours for a full charge on the DC-72V charger. The battery is removable.
How far does it go on a charge?
Up to 75 mi (120 km) at a steady 16 mph (25 km/h). Real-world range varies with rider, terrain and riding mode.
How is the R1 different from the R1+?
The R1+ adds more peak power (17 kW vs 10 kW) and torque (500 N·m vs 390 N·m), a larger 72V 40Ah battery and a higher top speed (95 km/h vs 85 km/h). The R1 is 9 kg lighter and shares the same 19/18 wheel sizes.
Is it waterproof?
The R1 carries an IP65 rating. Follow the owner's manual for washing and riding in wet conditions.
